This collection includes photographs, slides, bound volumes, correspondence, reports and academic plans, administrative records, publications, ephemera, audio-visual recordings, and artifacts documenting the history and activities of the California College of Pharmacy and UCSF School of Pharmacy and its students.

Photographic materials in the Robert L. Day Collection include slides and prints (in black-and-white and color) depicting faculty and students, school events, alumni activities, school buildings, classrooms, and laboratory equipment.The materials date from 1895 through the 2000s.
